When Croghan’s Jewel Box, Charleston’s oldest fine jewelry shop located on historic King Street, closed its doors because of COVID-19, there was never a thought of closing the business. We acted fast to shift the 100 year old store’s marketing endeavors with measurable outcomes. Since the beginning of social distancing, the family-run shop has seen over 20 to 1 ROAS.

Immediately, we shifted the focus from brick and mortar to booking of virtual appointments.

As a brand catering to milestones and special events, the company has an intimate, conversational relationship with customers. We quickly updated all marketing messaging to timely, authentic copy speaking to current situation. We remained tightly connected to the shop’s internal team in order to react quickly to shipping changes, product timing and more with swift messaging updates.

Budget Reallocation

The well-established brand has owned their audience for some time, so we immediately created strong retargeting audiences, shifting the budget to close sales. Ad focus leaned heavily on New Arrivals for retargeting audiences and Best Sellers for prospecting audiences.
